Goodwill of Central Iowa is dedicated to making purposeful employment possible for all central Iowans. Through the process of reselling, recycling, and salvaging, we are maximizing each generously donated item to support our mission and our community. By offering programming designed to build confidence and strengthen abilities, we are helping people achieve greater independence through the power of employment.

Our thrift stores serve as our generosity engines. Everything we do is built on generosity, which creates power and fuel for life transformation. We take what people are willing to donate and turn it into a tangible product that others are willing to purchase. Through our stores, we interact with donors, customers, staff, and volunteers, igniting the generosity engines. All of the profits from our stores go to support local and global missions.
